The ecstasy that a bhakta or practitioner of bhakti feels is equal to Samadhi. This contemplative path is the Christian meditation taught by Jesus. It does not matter if we engage in Christian worship or any other faith. Effective prayer brings us to the center of the heart where we find God. Religions devotionals are the cornerstone of every faith. Meditation on the form of God we prefer with love is what brings us to the goal. Meditation techniques are used to uncover the wellspring of divine love. Love of God is the beginning of wisdom. Pagan prayer is also very effective prayer because it is love that is the goal as opposed to any particular form of God.
