Daily devotions are practiced to enter into bhakti. Bhakti is a Sanskrit word which means devotion to God. Bhakti yoga or bhakti marga lead one to union with the Divine. Love is the both the vehicle and the goal in the practice of bhakti or devotion. The ecstasy that a bhakta or practitioner of bhakti feels is equal to Samadhi.
