Bhakti is a Sanskrit word which means devotion to God. Daily devotions are practiced to enter into bhakti. The ecstasy that a bhakta or practitioner of bhakti feels is equal to Samadhi. Bhakti yoga or bhakti marga lead one to union with the Divine. Love is the both the vehicle and the goal in the practice of bhakti or devotion. The benefits of meditation on God's love are many.
